Born in California and raised in Detroit, I received a Studio Arts degree from Wheaton College near Chicago. Dream degree! I found a book in the library about Alex Katz and he set me free to really try. Over the decade that followed, I had 4 kids and with each move (8!), I set up a "studio" to paint and play and devote hours and donate
Born in California and raised in Detroit, I received a Studio Arts degree from Wheaton College near Chicago. Dream degree! I found a book in the library about Alex Katz and he set me free to really try. Over the decade that followed, I had 4 kids and with each move (8!), I set up a "studio" to paint and play and devote hours and donate pieces. I'll be posting here what I'm proud of from those years. Now, I live in Dallas, and painting consistently again. I'll be posting new pieces and I'm excited to show you what comes out of my studio hours this time around.
